I made these today. They made three dozen. Except, now there may or may not be two dozen left. I don't know what happened to them. I didn't eat them.

where I want to live...
I went for a nice walk today near my work.
I went to where I want to live when I'm older...see pics below.
Then I went to the British Museum to have a quick look around. I did some good deeds and took pictures for people and then also helped a family with directions to Kings Cross...maybe they were going to platform 9 3/4?
This mummy is only 6,000 years old...big deal. My Papi is 92!

True?
Haha, this is totally my dad. Mine's just a 'tall hot chocolate, no whip cream' - low on the d-bag scale, I think. His is like, 'can I have a venti quadruple latte, extra hot and double froth.' Whatttt?
Actually, now that I think of it my usual summer drink is kind of elaborate. 'Grande passion tea lemonade, with an extra pump of grenadine and light brown sugar' - but mmmm so good!
I think the writiers of The Simsons know something we don't...
As soon as heard the news the other day about Prism etc. it reminded me of the Simpsons movie. You probably haven't seen it but, at one point, the Simpson family are on the run from the government and then this happens...

Hey
Not a big post today. Just wanted to say I love you and am happy for you and your job :) You're amazing!
I've been super busy with these pitches, but I can't complain really (other than the fact that I tried to sleep earlier but kept thinking about cupcakes) because it is quite fun. Hope they like my ideas! I'll run them by you if there's time when you wake up. Oh, and I still have to write the magazine article! Ahhh!
Sleep well :)

my new tattoo...
So, i woke up the other day (as you do) and saw this really cool pattern from my bed sheet on my chest. I think it looks like a vine/leaf. Excuse the hair.
I will go to the nearest tattoo parlour around and get it done

good things come to those who wait...
So, i don't know if you know the reference of the title, but it refers to a famous guiness advertiseent slogan, 'good things come to those who wait'.
Well, the other day, dad went shopping and i helped bring it all in. I was carrying the beer and the handle of the cardboard box broke, which made some beer smash.
I wrote to compain to the company and they sent an emaill back saying sorry and asked if i had the packaging etc so they can pick it up...i said yes.
I heard nothing back for a good week/week and half, then, the other day a courrier came to our door and gave me a very light package with a letter taped to it.
I couldnt think what I had ordered, or what someone might have sent me that was so light. I opened the letter and was happily surprised to read that they were sorry for my experience and that they had given £15 worth of vouchers to buy more beer...Hoooraay!

the next x-factor
So this is the prize that my mum's team of students won the other day. The prize won't stay at our house (in case there are any burglars reading this); it will be at mum's school. She was so chuffed to win, and the students really appreciated all her help

Closer....
I'm getting closer to finishing that site! What!? Apparently the coding mishap had to do with using the wrong local management system. DUH!
Feels so much better!
In other news, I'm watching Friends, and Phoebe suggested to Chandler that he buy Monica an engagement bracelet rather than a ring. Have you ever heard of that? Kinda cool! Not hinting here, lol. Honestly.

After Run Snacks
This was an after-run snack that I had on Monday. 100% from the garden. Oh yeahhhh!
Chocolate protein pancakes and a protein berry (from the garden) shake. Oh, and honey drizzled on top.
FOOD!
Sheeran is a naughty boy!
I won't ruin the end, but you might not like what happens to poor old Ed. You might like the song though...

Dear Simon,
Did you know that the movie Letters to Juliet is about an American girl and English boy? I didn't, because I hadn't seen it - until now. I will admit, though, that I only watched the last half hour, but the plot seemed simple enough. In case you have yet to see it, I'll do a quick run-through. Sophie, an aspiring journalist from New York, travelled to Verona to cover a story about a lady searching for the man she fell in love with some fifty years back. Still with me? Well, when Sophie met this lady, she also met the lady's grandson, Charlie. Charlie's from England, as I've said, although the actor who plays him is actually from Australia. No matter, the two fall in love by the end of the film, and live happily ever after - I presume, anyway.
In short, I love you. I don't care how 'Hollywood' films like this tend to be. They really do remind me of us. Of Santa Barbara. Of happiness. Everyone should have that.
Love,
Juliet Tiffany

I think I'm being watched...
So, I cycled to the train station to check the cost of my ticket, which by the way, is a lot. On the way back, I delivered mum's newsletters along the road back to mine.
I saw this 'Environment Agency' van parked on the other side of the road. there were 2 guys in it, both very stern-faced and wearing identical dark shades...think Men In Black (1, 2 or 3) and white shirts...couldn't see their trousers as they were sitting down in the car.
They weren't talking to eachother, they kept on glancing over at me as I was delivering. Then, when i was almost out of site, they began to get out of their van and start getting ready to 'work'.
Well, anyway, enough of that. Speak to you later

Beautiful
I thought this was so beautiful and so true. It's something that my sister and I were taught when we were still really small, and I can tell your parents did the same for you and Emilie.
stye: bit of a boring post, sorry
As you are clean and very nutritous, I would say that the stye is either because of a blocked oil gland in your eyelash or due to sleep deprivation.
Trust me, I should know, I parked in a physicians parking space before

#awk
I was cleaning up my desktop and came across this gem. The best thing about this is little Boon.
PS I just made our posts on here private. Didn't realize they weren't!

Stephen Wiltshire
I remember taking a psych class my freshman year at UCSB and learning about this guy. He's just unbelievable. I came across this on Pinterest the other day. Thought you might like it :)
Okay, I'm going to mess with the WordPress thing again, and try to write that article. Oh yeahhhh!
But first, a cup of tea. :)
Sleep well, you have a big day tomorrow!
